MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
MOPS is a program designed to provide mothers of preschoolers with the opportunity to form new friendships and gain resources they need to be the best moms they can be. Our program is for mothers of children through the kindergarten level (and mothers-to-be, if you are expecting or adopting).
Thankfully, we don't have to travel the journey called mothering alone. MOPS is dedicated to equiping moms of young children with the encouragement they need during these critical years. Join our community of moms as we learn how to navigate life as a mom together. This year we will be exploring - Momology: The Art & Science of Mothering.
WHAT DO WE DO AT MOPS?
At MOPS, we eat breakfast together and listen to guest speakers with relevant topics for today's moms. We also do crafts like stamped cards and occasionally play fun games.
When you enroll in MOPS, you will also enroll your child(ren) in our MOPPETS program. Children in kindergarten and under have play time within their own age groups, story time, music, snacks and a craft. You can relax and enjoy MOPS knowing your child is being cared for by loving volunteers and workers.
Our MOPS group at First Assembly of God meets on alternating Wednesdays beginning in the fall and ending late spring, with an extended break for Christmas/New Year. Our meetings begin at 9:00am and end promptly at 11:15am.
HOW DO I JOIN?
Enroll your child in KidCheck.
